Jack's Terrific Travels for Children's
From Owen Sound to Windsor, our Champion Child Jack visited Walmart stores across Southwestern Ontario to help with their May is for Miracles Campaign for Children’s Miracle Network. Walmart stores in our region raised over $557,000 last month by hosting fundraising events and educating customers about the importance of supporting Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre.
Jack, the Hamburgler, and Kyle from Mix 106.5 were locked in jail for an afternoon. Only the generous donations of customers at the Owen Sound Walmart could set them free!
Jack and Chase were on patrol in Port Elgin. By donating, customers could get a picture with the courageous police dog and Champion Child.
While in Hanover, Jack got to be a cashier for the day, scanning items and using his beaming smile to persuade customers to donate.
Things got a bit messy at Walmart in White Oaks Mall. Jack’s mom Heather placed her hand print on a board at the front of the store to show her support of the campaign.
As Jack made his way down to the Walmart in Tecumseh for a fundraising BBQ, he teamed up with past Champion Child, Mckenna!
Meanwhile at the Walmart in Thunder Bay…Children’s Health Foundation Patient Ambassador, Hunter, was out fighting crime and helping to bring in donations with local law enforcement and some super heroes!
We would like to send a huge thank you to all our Walmart friends who raised funds for Children’s Health Foundation this May and all year round. Thank You!
