Persistence Racing's Springbank Sprint is back for a third year. In addition to a 5k, 10k, and shorter runs for kids, this year's Springbank Sprint features a new event: The Jacob McKay Memorial Tandem Challenge, a two-person 10k relay. Registration for the Jacob Memorial Tandem Challenge is free, but limited to 10 teams, and each team will have a goal of raising $1000 for Children's Health Foundation. In addition, $5 from the registration for all adult events will be donated to Children's Health Foundation.
The Springbank Sprint takes place along the scenic Thames River on the multi-use pathways of the Thames Valley Parkway. The fun begins April 6 at 9 a.m., with a post-race party at BackRoads Brews + Shoes from 11:00 - 1:00.
