Dr. Beary Goode Mascot

Bring positivity and comfort to our kids as the life-sized teddy bear and foundation mascot, Dr. Beary Goode.

Be the silent but expressive Dr. BG mascot or his talkative guide delighting children on hospital tours or at signature and community events. 

Foundation Event Work Team

For the reliable professional with a strong network and ties to the community!

Help bring in sponsorships, vendors, auction items and donations. These teams also help with high-level event logistics and planning.

Brennan Childrens Hero Ambassador

Children’s Hero Ambassador

For patients or client family members who have benefitted from services at Children’s Hospital and/or TVCC.


By sharing kids’ health journeys, Ambassadors mobilize community members to support excellence in paediatric health care, research and rehabilitation.

Youth Philanthropy Group

The perfect place to start for high school or post-secondary students and to fulfill volunteer requirements.


Join this dedicated team of youth aged 14-24 and take the lead on planning an end-of-year event to raise funds for one of our health care partners.

Applications will open again July 2023.

We offer age-appropriate opportunities for volunteers 14 years of age and older. Are you between the ages of 14-24? Youth Philanthropy Group would be a great place for you!
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your skills, availability and interests. Sign up for Better Impact to see all the available volunteer positions.
We have many signature events throughout the year that require events support: Corus Radiothon for Children's in March, Wine, Women and Shoes in June, RBC Golf Classic in July, Under the Stars in September, and Magical Winter Ball in December.
There isn't one! You can be a Children's Health Foundation volunteer for as many hours as fits your schedule.
