Brothers, Jacob and Luke, both have a heart condition. They rely on the cardiology unit at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre to stay healthy and strong.

Jacob’s mom remembers when he was four and had his first stress test in the adult clinic. The CP Healthy Hearts Lab wasn’t open yet.
“You see this little guy on this big treadmill trying to walk,” says Lisa. “He had a hard time with it. It is a bit overwhelming for a little kid walking in there. But, the paediatric unit has bright colours and the equipment fits their size. It is a completely different atmosphere.”
