Christmas came early for some lucky hospital supporters as the top two winners of the Dream Lottery were revealed on December 10 during the CTV2 evening newscast. The lottery sold out quickly for the fourth time in a row, resulting in the final draw being held at its earliest possible date.

The winning ticket for the lottery’s Ultimate Grand Prize (ticket number 016237) was purchased by Lori Flynn of Exeter. “Oh my God, unreal!” Flynn exclaimed when informed of her win.
Flynn, who resided in Exeter when she purchased her winning ticket, has since moved to Alberta. She will now have to decide between an adventure package that includes $750,000 cash; a backyard makeover package that includes $750,000 cash; a furnished Silverleaf Dream Home in London by Bridlewood Homes; a furnished Edgewater Estates Dream Home in Kilworth by Vranic Homes; or $1 million dollars cash.
The winner of London’s largest 50/50 was also revealed. Malaisy Visouvath of London (ticket number 5231445) takes half of the record prize pool of $1,266,375. When contacted by phone after the results were revealed, an excited Visouvath said, “I always support our hospitals – the best hospitals in the world!”

Dream Lottery has raised more than $44 million (net) since 1996 in support of the regional hospitals located in London.
All winning numbers for the lottery were drawn December 9 at the office of MNP, 495 Richmond Street, Suite 700, London, Ontario under the supervision of accountants of record from the firm MNP LLP. The primary purchaser of each winning ticket will be contacted by phone and/or mail.
All Dream Lottery and 50/50 prize results are posted on the lottery’s website at dreamitwinit.ca. Making a Difference Calendar Draw prizes will be announced daily on the lottery website and on Dream Lottery’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/dreamitwinit in the months of February, March and April.
