Selectpath Chooses Right Path with Generous Donation

Children in hospital during the global COVID-19 pandemic will receive enhanced care and support, because of a generous $25,000 donation from Selectpath toward Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre.

While COVID-19 has challenged the health care community, injury and other illnesses have not stopped. Children continue to face cancer, mental illness, heart disease, premature birth, and other serious health issues, as well as complications from the virus.

Selectpath is one of Canada’s largest employee benefits and wealth management firms focusing on entrepreneurial businesses. Following their Right Path philosophy, Selectpath understands that children in hospital need our support during this time and have acted.

“At Selectpath, we believe it is imperative that children have as many opportunities as possible. Maintaining and restoring health during childhood not only sets a stage for a healthy adulthood, but impacts all our lives ethically, socially and economically,” says Gordon Hart, President and CEO, Selectpath. “Supporting Children’s Hospital, a world leading institution, is vitally important to creating a community that supports everyone’s capacity to contribute positively.”

Selectpath’s donation will help meet patients’ urgent needs and proactively address concerns that are emerging as our community continues to work to beat COVID-19.

“Even in uncertain times, our children remain our greatest hope for the future,” says Scott Fortnum, President and CEO, Children’s Health Foundation. “We are grateful for community leaders, like Selectpath, who recognize the need to stand by our kids in hospital during the global pandemic. Their challenges will be easier because of this wonderful gift. Every donation ensures our children receive the best possible care and most possible hope.”
