During this unprecedented public health crisis, Children’s Hospital and London Health Sciences Centre are working diligently to protect current patients and care for individuals who become critically ill with COVID-19.
As the fundraising partner for Children’s Hospital, Children’s Health Foundation recognizes that our community wants to help with this important effort. We want to do everything we can to keep our loved ones, our friends and our neighbours safe.
Children’s Hospital is a hospital-within-a-hospital and is directly impacted by COVID-19. Resources are being shifted and families are being impacted. As a result, we have created the Children’s COVID-19 Response Fund that will help support the urgent and highest priority needs of Children’s Hospital as they continue to provide the best possible care for children and families in the midst of COVID-19.
Monetary Donations
Funds raised will be used to support our front-line health care professionals, provide financial relief to parents, purchase critical equipment and other emergent needs.
You can make a donation to support these efforts here.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE Donations)
As well, health care professionals who are fighting COVID-19 at Children’s Hospital and the other LHSC hospital sites require personal protection equipment (PPE) like masks, gowns, eye protection, and gloves in order to treat the patients in our community. These items are essential to keeping them safe as they work to provide the best possible care.

Food & Drink Donations
Effective immediately, LHSC and its foundations can no longer accept any food or drink donations delivered to the hospital. This is to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health and well-being of LHSC staff, physicians and patients.
