May 2021, the town of Woodstock came together to show love and support for 4-year-old Hunter Weston. Hunter had become terminal, and his family wasn't sure how much longer they had with him. Residents near and far hung gold bows on windows, doors, and trees. Sadly, we lost Hunter on May 26th of that year. Hunter's Mom Sarah inspired this gesture to continue the tradition.
Each May she encourages the residents of Oxford County to hang gold bows in memory of Hunter and in honor of those children still fighting the fight.
From Sunday, April 30 to Wednesday, May 31, 2023, you can help support Children's Health Foundation by purchasing gold bows for $2 or by making a monetary donation.
