Why is this event being held you might ask?
As a lot of people in our community know, we lost our daughter Shaye when she was only 6 weeks old 15 years ago. While we suffered a dramatic loss, we as a family have over the years helped the hospital and foundation whether by fundraising or volunteering. Our son Rowan also volunteers with us in memory of the sister he never knew. In his own words, he says "if he can help another family not go through what we went through, he wants to help"
What better way to raise money and awareness to our local hospital and foundation then having a family fun event where we can all come together and be our own superheroes for the day!
