Leading-edge Cancer Care at Children’s Hospital

When four family’s world’s turned upside down, Children’s helped them through.

As our kids face cancer, they have expert clinicians and researchers working around the clock to provide the treatments that will work best for them and learn more about what can help the next child.

Going through cancer at Children’s Hospital means that while all this science is going on with testing, procedures, treatments and more, our kids also have access to people and programs that provide feelings of happiness, comfort and relief, even when they’re hooked up to their chemotherapy, or getting another needle poke done.

Now you can see exactly the kind of difference you make for our kids facing cancer

For Luka, it was Ollie the Clown who provided moments of laughter and fun.

For Lauren, it was the Bravery Bead program that helped track her accomplishments.

For Pepper, it was singing Old MacDonald with Music therapist Karina.

For Joey, it was his Child Life Specialist bringing him his bucket of toys and books.

It’s no coincidence that these donor-funded initiatives pop up in each of their stories. YOU help make the difference between good care, and the best possible care. Thanks to the generosity of community-minded supporters like you, Children’s Childhood Cancer Program stays on the leading edge of care to make each day facing cancer a little bit better.

We’ve been thrilled to collect their stories this month and share how each gift that you make to Children’s Health Foundation helps transform our kids’ care.

The impact of providing comfort and play during treatments, furthering cancer research and so much more, means that with the Children’s Childhood Cancer Program, more kids are surviving their cancer journey – and thriving.

Best care. Most Hope. Because of you.
