Patient Family Testimonial

My teenage son has been admitted to Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre three times because of lung issues that impact his oxygen saturation. His lungs only work at about 30% and sometimes it gets bad enough that he struggles to breathe. A team of medical professionals at the hospital are helping to determine the cause of his lung issues. My son vapes and smokes marijuana out of a bong, which impacts his condition. His doctors have advised him to quit but he’s a teen and he doesn’t always follow what they say. I have been trying to get him to quit and it’s not easy. He tells me that all of his friends do it, and he doesn’t want to give it up, although he has changed to a vape solution with less nicotine. I think the Substance iNtervention for Adolescents Program (SNAP) would be good for our youth.
