This year marks the 22nd anniversary of the Bechthold Home Improvements & BW Geotextiles Childhood Cancer Fundraiser. Our annual fundraising BBQ will be held on Thursday, July 9th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1239 Notre Dame Dr in Petersburg.

Without the strong and sustained backing of community members, business donors, and our amazing volunteers, this event could not have grown to the size and scope it is today. Twenty-two years ago, we had a vision of raising funds to support families impacted by childhood cancer. With a single barbeque, a couple of coolers, a sun umbrella, and a lot of heart, our Childhood Cancer BBQ was born. That single barbeque is now several industrial grills operated by many volunteers, and that umbrella is now several party tents and more than a dozen picnic tables.

Each year, all expenses are paid by Bechthold Home Improvements & BW Geotextiles, allowing every dollar donated to go directly to three leading childhood cancer care programs.
