The Lambeth Lions Memory Box Program provide a special place for the families to store precious keepsakes such as a bed card, photos, a lock of hair, a religious symbol, poems, care provider letters, a handprint, a casting of a hand or foot after their child passes away. Memory Boxes are beautifully handcrafted from red oak, dovetail joinery highlight the attention to detail and craftsmanship and take about 10 hours of work to put together.
The Lambeth Lions annual Memory Box Fundraiser is scheduled for Oct. 21, 2023 at the Hellenic Centre, 133 Southdale Rd. W. London. Live music will be provided by the Allen Family Reunion. In addition to the live entertainment, penny, silent and live auctions will be held with some terrific items up for bid. Cocktails start at 5:00 p.m. (cash bar only, ATM available), with roast beef and chicken dinner starting at 6:00 p.m.
