Rare Disease Day will be recognized at Children’s Hospital with an interactive booth in the Sumner Auditorium (B2) from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Families, staff, and visitors can learn about rare diseases, explore patient-family resources, and participate in hands-on activities highlighting the experiences of children with rare conditions. We will also hear directly from rare disease patients and families, as well as hospital and program leaders, who share brief reflections on the importance of coordinated rare disease care and the launch of the SWORD program.
